SBH Queensland2007 Southern Cross Association Poker run
The Poker Run is a 5 day event through country Queensland which covers nearly 3,000 km and is believed to be the longest in Australia. The 2007 Poker Run started at Lowood Sportsgrounds on Monday 3rd September. After breakfast everyone headed to Goondiwindi to spend Monday night. Tuesday night was at Chinchilla. On Wednesday the run went to Moura, Thursday to Moranbah and the run ended in Bowen on Friday 7th September. Keep an eye out for the 2008 Poker Run which will be in North Queensland from 1st - 5th September. Every year many organisations donate holidays and prizes for the Poker Run. The Southern Cross Association and SBH Queensland would like to thank the following businesses in particular, which have donated generously every year:
